Design time, setup time and engraving time are all billable.

In 2019 Lockhart Precision purchased a brand new 50 Watt Fiber Laser Engraver equipped with a 4th Axis and a mass production automated conveyor belt system.

We opted to invest into the additional advanced laser system upgrades to ensure our machine will efficiently surface mark and deep engrave a single unit up to a million.

We can engrave anything from Knife blades to pens, to mugs and tumblers to mechanical ball bearings rings to machined parts which our in house CNC shop can also machine for you.

Materials we can Engrave include but are not limited to:
Raw Aluminum, Anodized Aluminum, Titanium, Raw Steel, Coated Steel, Stainless Steel, Iron, Nickel, Delrin, Polyurethane, Other Plastics, Rock, and More!

F.A.Q's:
Q: How much time will my job take?
A: Most jobs will take less than half an hour. If you have a few identical parts, we can typically do muliple parts all within the same time period as once the machine is setup, it can engrave fairly quickly. The only exception is if we are doing deep engraving which is much slower.

Q: Where is the laser engraving done?
A: All Lockhart Tacical Custom work is completed on site at our Facility on Vancouver Island, BC. Call us for questions or more details at (1-250-715-7290) or send us an email to Info@LockhartPrecision.ca

Q: I have an idea in my head of what I want, but no computer file for it. Can you help?
A. If you describe what you are wanting in detail, or provide us with a sketch we can do custom graphics to try and get exactly what you are looking for. Please note that custom design time is chargeable and as such you will want to purchase extra hours.

Q: What happens if I purchase multiple hours and the job is completed faster than expected?
A. No problem! All extra hours will be saved on your account as future engraving credits.

Q: Is there a minimum amount of time?
A. All jobs are billed at a minimum of one hour. If you send multiple parts, we will engrave as much as we can in the one hour for you.

Q: What happens after I purchase custom engraving time?
A: Please respond to the email that is sent to you with your order confirmation.
Send us the files you want engraved as well as any clear and specific instructions.
Once we review it, we will give you an accurate estimate if any additional hours are required. 95% of the time one hour will cover everything. Once your instructions are reviewed we will send you the shipping address for you to mail us the item(s) you wish to be engraved.

Q: Why is there a shipping cost on my order for custom laser engraving?
A: You are responsible for shipping the item(s) you requested to be engraved to us as well as return shipping. We charge a very low flat rate fee to have it shipped safely with tracking back to you.

Q: Can you laser engrave my pistol or rifle?
A: Yes we can! Please dissemble and clean any and all parts that require it for us to laser engrave it. If the part is dirty we will have to clean it before lasering (added time).
